CCTV System

"Security is something that happens all around us, no security is perfect, our care and vigilance is the key"

The use of CCTV in marine systems is for surveillance of the surrounding environment, especially surveillance of intruders so that it can provide security and safety for people on board ships, in ports, etc. Recording every incident in the sea or port area so that it can provide input to the port authority or marine authority to identify every incident especially if an accident or ship collision occurs.

One of the other functions of the Closed Circuit Television System (CCTV) in the port is used to support the Vessel Traffic Management System (VTMS) to capture video footage as a means of surveillance, a means of obtaining visual information, information such as the port in place and the type of ship, providing protection for people and property, information such as ships that violate regulations, and ships with dangerous goods, this monitoring is necessary to ensure security and safety when ships enter ports and know the speed of ships and how many ships are anchored to get scheduling information.
