BAS (Berthing Aid System) or also called Docking Aid System is a navigation device that helps ships or port authorities to obtain information in real-time which includes the distance between the ship and the ship’s berthing location, approach speed, speed alarm, berth angle which will be coordinated with a combination Large LED Displays, Eye-Safe Lasers, Audio alarms, traffic lights, handheld devices and Computers, where Computers have software with integrated equipment network architecture and communication interfaces. The display on computer screen will display other parameters such as wind speed, current, tides or other important information, Ship database, Drift mode, Berthing, and data logger to ensure ships dock safely and reduce human error.

On the large LED screen, the people involved, both the crew and port authorities, can see real-time information on when the ship will dock.
